On May 8th, DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Company Limited named and delivered the 38,500-ton bulk carrier No.10 built for Minsheng Financial Leasing and Dalian Taijia. Yao Hongshan, the Member of Party Committee of DSIC and General Manager of Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Company Limited, Chen Yu, the General Manager of Dalian Taijia Company, Yang Haisong, the Director of Merchant Ship Leasing Center of Minsheng Financial Leasing, Dong Shiyan, the President in China of NK Classification Society, Jin Baogang, the Vice Minister of China Shipping and Trading Company, attended the ship delivery ceremony. Ms. Guan Hong named the ship "TS JASMINE”.
The type of the ship has independent intellectual property rights in China, featured with advanced design concept and good operating performance, energy conservation and environment protection. The hull has a total length of 182 meters, a width of 30 meters, a depth of 14.8 meters and a scantling draft of 10.5 meters, which is suitable for sailing in the unlimited navigation area in international sea area.
In recent years, more than 40 handy-size ships have been built and delivered by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Company Limited, which has become a brand in the shipping industry at home and abroad, including 10 ships of the same type were built for Minsheng Financial Leasing and Dalian Taijia.
