CSIC’s senior technical expert Liu Wenmin from DSIC awarded the 4th session of title of Ship Design Master at the 9th National Conference of China Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers held recently.
Liu Wenmin has worked for more than 30 years, always involved in design and R&D of ship and offshore engineering products, vigorous promotion of CAD and active participation in implementing establishment of modern shipbuilding pattern with rich experiences accumulated in his practice. In the past decades, he has dedicated to design and R&D of offshore engineering products in DSIC, chairing and taking part in more than design and technical development of 50 offshore engineering products, among which, there are 16 domestic first-built products. Especially, the DSJ serial platforms are large jackups first domestically self developed, engineered, constructed and exported as a total package, which have reached the world advanced level at the same time.
