On April 10, the 4300TEU container ship Gucheng for Singapore-based PIL constructed by DSIC signed for delivery, which is the first vessel of a new shiptype. Encountered by plenty of dificulties like short docking and in-water periods, it only took DSIC 11 days to complete all final pending items with the close coordination among various departments, which has accomplished the production mission for the first vessel successfully and set up a new record for such construction in DSIC.
